Notion was made by Bissonett -.to adopt the names as presented for the Spring Lake area with the changes of 170th. CHEVY NOVA SQUAD CAR Police Chief Powell was resent r P requesting authorzation;to purchase -a new .Chevrolet Nova for a squad car and presented quotes from.Malkerson Motors for $4,977,00, Todd Chevrolet for $4,930,00, and Mahowald Motors for $4,990.00. Motion was made by Busse to authorize the City Manager to negotiate with Todd Chevrolet the purchaseof a,- Chevrolet li Nova for a squad car at $4,930.00, seconded by Bissonett and upon a vote taken it was duly passed. 1 THE OAKS PARK PROPERT The Council discussed "The Oaks" park property donation. ;a MotiorVwas made by Bissonett to authorize the City Manager to proceed' with the acquisition of "The Oaks" park property, seconded by ;Busse and upon a vote taken it was duly passed. City Manager McGuire stated, regarding the request by Viking Liquor to transfer their "Off Sale" license to a new location, that the Liquor License Commission recommends that the license by transferredto the new location which is immediately east of the:Prior Lake Hardware and west of the Dairy Store and it would be a new building. - r.
