Mayor. Stock called the meeting - to order. Present were .Mayor�Stock, Councilmen Bissonett,: Busse, Oakes, and Watkins, City Manager McGuire, En- gineer Anderson, Planner Graser, and.Attorney Sullivan. c MINUTES Motion was made Bissonett to approve the Minutes of `March 2$, 1977 seconded by Watkins and.upon a vote taken it was duly passed. METRO SYSTEM Planner Graser reviewed and the Council discussed. the STATEMENT Preliminary Metropolitan; System Statement for the City -of Prior hake and Spring Lake Township received from the Metropolitan Council, ISLAND VIEW Mr. Jim.Hill was present representing Almac, Inc. S a Q REQUES1 requesting municipal sewer and water services for the remaining area of Island View that-Almac, Inc. has. a Y `, PROJ. 76 - Motion was made by Oakes that staff and anyone else' that staff may direct participate n a restudy of Project 76 -2 amended and that 30% of the cost of the staff effort in producing that study would be borne by Almac, Inc. and the authority of Mr. Hill and that amount not to exceed` a15 00.00'and a detailed bond to be provided and directing he: City Nana 8 y ger to obtain a written request from Denny McWilliams, seconded Watkins and upon a vote taken�it was duly passed. Mayon Stock directed the City Manager not to proceed ' with the. restudy to Project 76-2 amended until a letter of verification from Almac, Inc. is received. PROJ. 76 - Mr. Wayne Long, and Mr. Jim Norton of Orr- Schelen Mayeron and Associatesi:Inc. and Engineer Anderson presented the Project 76-2 Prel,iminaijr Plans for Council review and discussion. Motion was,made 'hv Bissonett to approve. -the bituminous paving of"the existing width,,on the east= west portion : of Memorial. Trail for the amount of , $2,700.00 andahe 4 paving is to be installed by the City, seconded by Watkins and upon a vote taken it was duly passed.
