The Common Council of the City of Prior Lake met in regular session on�`�
,,�February;6. 1978 at 7 30PM. Present were Mayor Stock, Councilmen
-
Bissonett, Busse, and Hafermann, City ?tanager McGuire, - Planner
Graser and Attorney Hicks.' Councilman Watkins was absent.

Motion was made b Bissonett to a pprove pprove the minutes of January 23 1978,
seconded by Busse and upon a vote taken it was duly passed.

Mr. Ken Stark of. the Savage, JC's was present . requesting, authorization

to hold a "Radar Run" (a snowmobfte race against radar) 'on Prior lake.
This would be set for February 26, 1978 from noon till 4:30PH. Mr.
Stark stated that all the required law enforcement centers have been:`
notified and has received� permission and coop ration.
Motion was made: by Bissonett to' approve the. "Radar'Run" for February 26, 1978`
with the following stipulations. That any access that is used should be
through pubiic access and not ,a residential' area; The hours are to

Mr. Don Williams was present expressing; his opinion on Snow Days and

their opinion in favor of this variance.

ZONING CHANGE Motion was made by Busse to approve the change in the zoning map from
Cl to 62 a C -1 to a B-2 for that triangular parcel lying between Main Avenue SE
and Hwy 13 with the stipulation that the Sanitary Sewer, Storm; Sewer
and Mater recommendations by the Engineer be attached with this motion,
seconded by Bissonett: and upon a vote taken it was duly passed'.

BINGO BENEFIT Motion was made by Bissonett to approve the request from the Knights
K OF C, of Columbus'to hold a Bingo Benefit at the Catholic School on March 15, 1978
in- accordance with the ordinance, seconded by Busse and !upon &:vote taken
it was duly passed.
OBSCENITY ORD Attorney Hicks was present with seven different drafts of certain obscenity
ordinances for the Councilmen to read over and consider for the next meeting.
RESOLUTION Motion was mede'by Busse to approve Resolution 78 -7, concerning acquisition
7$ -7° of permanent and /or temporary easements in Maple Park, seconded by
'Sissonett and upon at vote taken it was duly passed.
'ATH'QUARTER ,Motion was made by.,Bissonett for the authorization of the 1977 4th quarter
BUDGET REPORT funds to be transferred to the 1,978 budget, seconded by Hafermann and upon
a vote taken it was. - duly passed.
RE SOLUTION Motion was made by Bissonett to approve Resolution 78 -6, concerning the {�
