Present were Mayor Stock, Counci,i'men ; ! Bissonett,l Busse, Thork +�l on, City Manager McGuire, Finance Directo��Tesch= ner, City�Engineer Anderson, City Planner,Graser and City�Attorney `SUhlivan. Council rian Watki ns was absent, Mayo,r'Stock called the„'meeting to order. The minutes of Jan'ua 28, 1980 " were reviewed. MINUTES Motion by Bissonett to approve the minutes of January 28, 980 as present-- ed, seconded by Busse and upon a vote taken it was duly p- .�ssed. The pumping permit is being sent t ►iis week to the Depart - ,. nt of Natural Resources. The next step is to acquire easements for the pumping. Staff recoremends authorization 'to roceed with acquiring easements. Mr. ,Don Benson of the " Watershed District as present, he felt that the easement costs wi;l be rEimbursable by the tershed. COMPREHENSIV City Planner Grayer presented the preliminary draft of the Comprehensive PLAN Plan to the Council. He' briefly summarized each section of,the plan,. .Mr. x� Peter Beckus .'from the. Scott County Soil Conservation Service was prsent to review the booklet,, Soils of Prior Lake, which they prepared,,.wi"th the Council. He also explained the maps indicating water tables and types of 7 i o Agricultural land. # The Council recommended some chan to: the Co i g Comprehensive Plan and also " ' suggested that the last section of the plan, Implementation, have the following added; ordinance regulating 'marshes and slopes reference to storm water management booklet r - --reference to the comprehensive sewer, water and park plans ---agricultural preservation The Metro Council and adjacent communities of Prior take will be ` copies of the Comprehensive Plan for their review.,- Then the final draft will be printed and copies made. This should be done sometime in March with the -final hearing in May. ORDINANCE Ordinance 80 -1, Title 10, Chapter 10, Unclaimed Property was tabled for one 80 - 1 week. RIDGEMONT_ The Council reviewed the layout for Highway 1 Ridgemont and 160th Street G Intersection. Various alternatives we're discussed.
