February 19. 1980 : The Common Council of the City of Prior Lake met in regular session on Tues day, February 19, 1980 at 7:30 PM. Present were Mayor S'tock,,Councilmen� Bissonett, Busse, Thorkelson, Watkins, City Manager McGuire, £ity Engineer Anderson, Finance Director Teschner , .and City Attorney Sullivan. Mayor Stock called the meeting to order. The minutes of February 11, 1980 were reviewed. One.correction is to be made on Page 2, paragraph 4, the j correct spelling of Evan. MINUTES Motion by Watkins to approve the minutes of February 11, 1980 as amended,' seconded by Busse and upon a vote taken it was duly passed. TEMPORARY City Engineer Anderson informed the Council on the status of the temporary OUTLET outlet. The City Staff is working Watershed with the District and They are xperiencing some problems, however, they will continue to work on the mat- ter and the Staff will report back to the Counci'I next week. BROOKSVILLE- he City Engineer reviewed the condition of the Brooksville Center Road. CENTER RD. a has talked with Richard Anderson, IDS representative. He feels that un- h less the project is currently done for that amount of the developers agree- Vk nt, the project still is not feasible. Mayor Stock stated that since the w. ity is going to be doing the job for the developer, we sh"Id °advertise for Ids. If they do not wish to sign, then the x� C ouncil will take the necessary action. Staff will report back to the Council next week. HARBOR, PROJ: The :City Engineer and City Manager met with Wes Green, owner of the Harbor project, regarding the watermain oversizing for.this project.` Mr. Green has agreed to the City's method of splitting trunk watermain costs. For the por tion adjacent to, the Harbor, Mr. `Green's construction cost share is $16,726.25 i and the City's is'$8,610.00. Motion by Watkins to approve the agreement between the City and Wes Green for the Harbor project with Mr. Green's cost of $16,726.25 and the City's cost of $8,610.00, seconded by Thorkelson and upon a vote taken it was duly passed,. BROOKSViLLE City Engineer Anderson HILLS 6TH Y 9 presented the trunk sewer and water costs for Brooks- villa Hills 6th. ' The City had Scottland, Inc. install trunk lines through theft- project. The lines have been inspected. The total` cost of this pro Ject is S50,376.55. They have been credited with the amount of 5% 4, ,pf the developers agreement and also the Sunset Hills plat developers agreement The �:Z total amount the City owes Scottland', Inca is $43,004 which they are,`' �. IJ _ x � Motion by Busse to authorize payment and final'.agreement with Scottland, inc. _. for Brooksville Hills 6th Addition, Phase I in the amount of $43,004.85, seconded by Bissonett and upon a vote "taken it was duly passed. v ORD NANCE Ordinance 80-1, Unclaimed Property is tabled until next week. 1 4TH QUARTER Finance.Director Teschner reviewed the 4th quarter budget analysis. Mayor BUDGET ANALY. 1tock congratulated the Finance Department for the investment practices for t3 1979.' <; The monthly reports were reviewed. ' FIRE & RESCUE'Motion by Bissonett to approve the Fire and Rescue Report for the month,of REPORT January, seconded by Watkins and upon a vote taken it was ,duly passed,. { OLICE REPORT Motion by Bissonett to approve the Police Report for the month of January, seconded by Thorkelson and upon a vote taken it was •duly passed. BLDG. PERMIT° Motion by Thorkelson to approve the Building Permit Report for the month of REPORT Januar y, seconded by Busse and upon a vote taken it was duly passed. TREASURERS Motion by Watkins to approve the Treasurer's Report for the month of REPORT January, seconded by Busse and upon a vote taken it was duly passed. ��
