Present were Mayor Stock, Councilmen Bis- ;�!` day, January 5, at Busse, Thorkelson, Watkins, City Manager McGuire, City Engineer inn sonett, Anderson, City Planner Graser, Finance Director Teschner and City Attorney Sullivan. Mayor Stock called the meeting to order. The minutes of December 22, '1980 were reviewed. MINUTES Motion by. Watkins to approve the minutes of December 22,, 1980 as presented, seconded by Busse and upon a vote taken it was duly passed. RON BUCKEYE City Planner Graser reviewed the plat of the Ron Buckeye Subdivision. The Planning Commission has 'reviewed this plat and gave preliminary approval contingent upon park dedication. ' Motion by Watkins to approve the preliminary plat of the Ron Buckeye Sub - dedication fee being paid - prior to hard - division contingent upon the park shell, seconded by Thorkelson and upon a vote taken it was duly passed.. JOHN HARTMAN City Planner Graser presented the request for road vacation from John Hart - Manor 2nd Addition. Scott County ; has been requested to work with the DNR to develop better accesses onto ' ` Spring Lake and Prior Lake w1th adequate parking and safer conditions. ONR'ASSESS- City Manager McGuire commented on the assessment abatement on DNR public s the basis fIT;ABATEMENT access. The State of Minnesota refuses to pay the assessment on a - j value regard - that the State determines the benefit value and pays on that less of the value determined by the asses5'ing:authorlty.
