The Common 'Council of the City of Prior Lake met in regular session on

Monday, January 12, 1981 at 7 :30 PM in the City Council Chambers. Mayor
Stock called the meeting to order. Present were Mayor Stock, Councilmen
Bissonett, Busse and Thorkelson, City Manager McGuire, City Planner

Graser, Finance Director Teschner and City Attorney Sullivan. Councilman

Watki was absent.

The following correction was made to the Minutes of January 5, 1981:
Page two, paragraph nine should _read' "Motion was made by Watkins to ap-

for 1981 and their salaries being $300.00 per month and $100.00 per month
respectively, seconded by Thorkelson and upon a -vote taken It was duly
passed.

City Planner Graser reviewed the preliminary site plan for Lakeside

resident was present representing the ne,ighboring.,property owners
stating they were in opposition to having the proposed service building

addition; they were in opposition to the proposed Harbor Master quarters;
a
they felt that the site plan - incorporates something "more than was intend-
ed in the settlement agreement and stipulation of judgement; therefore,
they would like to see them stricken from the site plan. If there are
going o be additions to the property, then that should be brought up in
the proper channels thru the`Planning,Commission and City Council, all
in comformance with the City Ordinances. The resident also stated the
neighboring property owners feelings regarding the fence along the north-

erly property line, storage area as per the- settlement, an error in .item
2D of the settlement - agreement should read 6.08 rather than 5.08, and
public launching and parking.

Mayor Stock requested changes made to the Lakeside Marina site plan in

regard to a footnote on proposed items or'' leave them off entirely, the
fence along the property line should be as the neighbors requested, also
correct item 2D from 6:.08 to 5.08, and more delineation of the parking

area on the west side of the easement.

Motion was made by Busse to approve Emmanuel Russo's request classifying
h is cabin as a storage building contingent upon the outhouse being, re-

moved by 4 /1181, that the premises be inspected on a yearly.basis to
make sure it is being used for storage only, and if the cabin 1s inhabit -

Mayor Stock directed Planner Graser to contact some „professional fire-
place agencies and report back to the Council in two ,weeks.,
Motion was made by Bissonett to adopt a resolution correcting Ordinance
ORD. 74'1
74 -1 adding the sewer paragraphs omitted by Sterling Codifiers and for -
ward this resolution to Sterling Codifiers for correction, seconded by
Busse and upon a vote taken it was duly passed.
