Mayor Stock cal led the meeting to order.. Present were Mayor Stock, Councilmen Busse, Watkins, Thorkelson, Schweich, Ci Manager McGuire, City Engineer Anderson and Finance Director Teschner. Mayor Stock asked everyone to please rise and pledge aileginance to the flag. Minudw Motion by Watkins to approve the Minutes of January 11, 1982 as amended, seconded by Busse and upon a vote takehWit was duly passed. i `City Manager McGuire reviewed the Fire and Rescue Contracts for 1982: r Fire & Rescue Motion by ',Watkins to approve the 1982 Fire and Rescue Contracts at the :Contract recommended amounts of $11,376.00 to Credit River, $12,046.005 to'Spring Lake and $43,498.00 to Prior Lake, seconded by Busse and,upon a vote taken it was duly; pissed. {, k F''1nance Director<Teschner reviewed the Rescue 'Charges for 1982.' Raise Rescue' f Motion by `Watkins to raise the Rescue Charges for '1912 from $75.00 to 5150.00 ".' Cha�s'es for 1982 per call,, seconded by, Schweich and upon a vote taken it was duly passed. ' Mayor Stock called the Continuation of the Public Hearing for Pleasant Street °of Curb and , Gutter`to order. Mayor Stock asked City Engineer Anderson for'his ;.C60inuati.on .Publ Hearing fo.,comments relative to the construction and communication with Ery Prenevost,' Project 82 =1'�1 the Scott County Engineer. ' .. City fngineer~Anderson stated that the letter he had received from Ery Prenevost denied airy portion of the funding for Project 82 -11 and that it is in the samerpo'icy of the County that the County does not participate in the w cost of concrete curb and gutter or sidewalk.' They do partic':i,pate in the cost of grading baekfi'I base and servicing the-new construction of streets; however, this project is'the construction of concrete curb in an area. where the bituminous paving Is already ny�.;ace. fl City Engineer Anderson also ;stated the cost for the _concrOte curb and, gutter, with driveway aprons would be $24.87 and without the aprons­$18.37, this again reflects the City not doing the replacement of'the black dirt or turf establishment such as,seeding or sodding.
