Present were Mayor Stock, Councilmen Busse, Watkins-, Thorkelson, Schweich, City Manager McGuire. City Engineer Anderson, City Planner'Graser and Planning Consultant Tooker. 'Q i i Mayor Stock asked, everyone to piease rise and ,pledge 'allegiance ' to the b Y flag.. The minutes'of May 3, 1982 were reviewed. MINUTES Motion by Busse to approve the minutes of May 3., 1982 as subiai,tted, ' seconded by Watkins and upon `a vote taken It was duly passed. JEFF DOUSETTE'S City Planner Graser reviewed Jeff Dousette's Variance Appeal,` VARIANCE APPEAL Jeff`Dousette was present for comments.' Mayor Stock asked Mr. Dousette if he had comments on the Planning Commissions "action. -Ne stated that it was acceptabhe to him;and that his attorney would draw up the document and have the City Attorney review it. ,. ADOPT'PLANNING Motion by Watkins to adopt t he Planning Commissions.s recommendation for ::. CQkIMISSIONS 'Jeff Dousette's Variance, seconded by Thorkelson and upon a vote taken it': RECQ KNTATION was duly passed. These changes will be reviewed and noted at the time of�the Ubl c Hearing. V Council felt that there should be definitions for the conditional uses. The M e RE4UES7'FOR,A;'.�.2 The next item on the agenda was the request for a 3 2 Temporary Liquor TEMPORARY iIQUOR License for St. M chaels Church. RoseAnne Campagnoii the irepresentat ive LICOSE -ST.' MIKES from St. Michaels was present to comment on this. ° = - ~Ms.CampagnoII stated this request was for a 3.2 Temporary Liquor License for St. Michael >s Church for a'parish party to be held on Saturday, May 22. This panty will be for members of St. Mi;¢hael's Church only.. The cost will be $20.00 per ticket.. The fee for the license was for the Councils decision. a ORAHT LICENSE: Motion�by Watkins to grant the Temporary 3.2 Liquor License to St. Michaels for a parish party and that the fee would be set at $10.00, seconded by ' Busse and upon a vote taken it was duly passed. Mayor Stock asked if there was anyone that would like time on the agenda. No-one did. Councilman Thorkelson asked 'City Engineer Anderson how high the lake was. t i MINUTES of the Proceedings of the City Council of the City of Prior Lake in the,County of Scott and State of Minnesota, including all accounts audited by said Council, a G City Engineer Anderson stated that it was 902.3 as of last Thursday, PLASTIC PIPE City Engineer Anderson requested approval for the use of plastic pipe for AMEN ACRES the main lines in Amen Acres. He further stated that there -was a si ned g developers agreement with the City of Prior Lake in 1979 and never- ;1 DEVELOPERS completed the work. He now wants to finish the work with an addition of AGREEMENT concrete curb and gutter - cost would be. $33,243.50. � APPROVE Motion by Watkins to approve the use of plastic pipe, seconded by Thorkelson l PLASTIC PIPE and upon a vote,taken it was duly passed, ' APPROVE' Motion by Thorkelsonto approve the Developers Agreement dated May 17, 1 OEVLEOPERS for Amen Acres, seconded by Watkins and upon a vote taken it was duly passed. AGREEMENT City Planner Graser asked if an agreement can be reached on the Jeff bousette -; Variance Appeal between the City and`Mr, "Oousette as f6iias 'liability, there area couple of variances approved within the last year with the condition of no building permit being issued until the road is put in. He asked if the Council would a 1 the to the pp,y same other two variances. t� Mayor Stock stated yes, that the people holding the other variances should be t= notified of the action taken this evening. City Manager McGuire announced that the 15 -18'of June there is a League of ,� Minnesota`Cities Conference being herd in Rochester. If there was anyone '1,,, that would like to attend to please notify him. �� ADJOURN .,With no other comments, motion by Watkins to adjourn,_secanded by Thorkeison and upon,a vote taken this meeting was adjourned at 9 :10 PM.
