The Common Council of the City of Prior Lake met in regular session on
Monday, December 13, 1982 at 7:30 PM in the Council Chambers.' Mayor
Stock called the meeting to order. Present were Mayor Stock, Councilmen
Busse, Schweich, Thorkelson, Watkins and City Manager McGuire.
Mayor Stuck asked everyone to please rise for the pledge of allegiance, f'

Motion by Watkins to approve the minutes of December 6, 1982 as amen

The next item on the agenda was to review ,A 'letter sent to the'CounciI from
Dr. Geiser regarding Sewer and Water connection to his'cottage at 2832 Spring
Lake Road. Mayor Stock read the letter for the record'. It`was Dr. Geiser's!.

Councilman Busse asked to be excused from discussion on this item.
There was general .discussion by Council and Staff.
Motion by Watkins to grant the extension for Dr. Geiser until July 1, 1983,
seconded by Schweich and upon a vote taken it was duly passed..”

Mayor Stock then asked City Manager McGuire . to review the draft agreement
for the Community Development Director.

City Manager reviewed the agreement. He stated 'that $14.00 per hour wou I d be

the maximum rate. He then presented to the Council professional profiles of

Mark'Nagel and Mary Ray.' He further stated that the individupl would work
one day per week,for,the months of January, February and March and then`two

days per week for the remaining nine months, total cost would,be approximately

$10,000.00. He then recommended to the Council that Mark Nagel and Mary Ray
be brought on as consulting staff for this project. Both men would not be
here at all times, i'f one,is more familiar with a certain area 'that person would
be here.
