The Common Council of the City of Prior Lake met in rogular session on Monday,
January 16, 1984 at 7:30 PM in the City Counc'I Chambers. Mayor Johnson called

order. Present were Mayor Johnson, Councilmembers'Busse, Schweich,`
Scott, Thorkelson,
City Manager McGuire, City Engineer Anderson, City Planner

The first item'on the agenda was to review the minutes of the January 9, 1984
meeting.

The next item on the agenda was to review Ordinance 84-03, Shoreland Manage-
merit.
Council and Staff discussed this ordinance and made the necessary amendments..

After further discussion, motion by Thorkelson to continue this discussion on
Old. 84-03
Monday, February 13, 1984 at 7 :35 PM, seconded by Scott and upon a vote taken

Council then reviewed and discussed Ordinance 84 -,04, Excavatin�'j and Filling.
City Planner Graser went through the ordinance page by page. The Council
had questions and comments.

After further discussion, motion by Schweich to continue this discussion on

to the Council with a fee list for the permits, seconded by Scott and

Mayor Johnson asked if there was any other business that needed to be taken

Councilmember Schweich reported on a conversation that he had with Bryce,
Nuemoel ler's,of.t regarding the flexible weir on the Prior °Lake /Spcirg `Lake

Watershed Outlet.
Ci ty Manager McGuire stated for the record that a notice had',been placed in

the paper that there was_r,.finding of nonsignificant impact in regards to the .
Prior Lake /Spring take, Flood Controi,Program.
Counciimember Thorkelson then motioned that the Council meet' in an executive '
session with the City's legal counsel regarding the pendingillawsuits against

the City, seconded by Busse and upon a vote taken it was duly
passed.
