Mayor Johnson called the Public Hearing for the 1985 -1989 Capital Iteprovemrt
Progvaa to order. He asked City Manager !r(cOuire to) ccmoent on this.

After a lengthy discussion by Council, Staff, Mr. ' Dunn and Mr. Traxler, it was
the conaensus of the`' Council that this item should be worked out by the two
Parties and if it can not be resolved it will be brought back before the Council
on. January Tth at 8;15 PH.
The next item on the agenda Was to discuss Concrete -v3- Bituainous CWW for
prOeet,areas Within Prior Lake. City Engineer Anderson commented on this.
After a general discussion by Council and Staff, there Was a motion by Busse to Oancreroe',
specify ;;,that all new projects from this time forward Will be concrete curb and ftr nm PMT
gutter, seconded by Schweich., and upon a vote taken this motion `carried.

Tlie next. item: on the agenda was to discuss the 1985 Prior Lake Home Improvement
Assistance Program. Katherine Tane from Scott County H. LA. was present and
canted toothe Council on this item. s
Katherine Tana reviewed the program al-A requirements for the Improvement
Asaistarwe: Stye s tated that this program would sub to a limit of " ;10,000.00
per household to Improve 3163tandard housing for low to moderate income
failea.j t
After a lengthy discussion by Council, Staff and Ms. Tane, motion by `Busse to Am- Sit
adopt a' resolution showing the support of the City of Prior Labe for )the Home H= 1 4'-
