The Common Council of the City of Prior Lake not in. regular session on
Monday, January 28, 1985 at 7:30 PH in the City Council Chambers. Mayor
Johnston called the meeting to order. Present were Mayor Johnson,

Counoilmember Busse,, Schweich, Scott, Thorkelson, City Manager McGuire,
and City Planner drasor. City Attorney Kessel was absent,
Mayor Johnson asked everyone to rise for the pledge of allegiance.

Motion by Schweich to approve the minutes of January 21, 1985 as presented,
seconded by-Scott and upon a vote taken it was duly passed.
Tho next item on the agenda was to review the P.U.D. for Park Avenue
lownhomes. Coun,cilmember Schweich excused himself from the Counoil'at this
time. City Planner Oraser commented on this.

-City. Planner Grazer stated that, the applicant, C.G.T. Properties is
requesting Schematic P.U.D. approval, Th• Planning Commission held a
hoaring on 1117145. The neighborhood was envited to attend and comment.
Only three people made their feelings known. The issue which precipitated
the most discussion was the r length -of the units and Staff's policy to limit
row housing to six or eight units. Also the Co mm ission focused _on-
ownership of the units._ He then commented on the Planning Comiss'ion "s
reoemendaton. '
Notion by Loftus to give concept approval subject to:
