The aosmon Council of the City of Prior Lake met in regular session on Monday,
August 5, 1985, at 7 :30 PM in the City ouncil
the meeting to order. Present were y Mayo J (2tiambers. Mayor Johnson called

Mayor Johnson asked everyone to rise for the pledge of allegiance. '

The next item on the agenda was the review of the Tan Steffens
Prioxwood 5th Addition. Concept for the
Planner Graser presented to the Council two sets of plans that have been
Submitted by the developer. The lot plan totaling 29 iota is geared towards

lots is :geared towards the request of the willow Beach Association. The taro..

Kesael explained the City's liability would be no different and would

Motion was made by Thorkelson to allow the residents of Sycamore Trail to Blacktop

The next item on the agenda was the request from C.G.T. Properties.
Councilmember Schweich excused himself from the Council.
Attorney Ressel referred to his memo of August 1, 1985, indicating that there
was not a conflict of interest with tyre Council member and the City of Prior
Lake as long as t he rcouncilmember excuses himself from the_Council ,
C.G.T

and the building inspector be authorized to issue a- certificate of occupancy

f In the discussions, that followed, it was determined that the ,P. U. D. does not
exist because the schematic plan for the P.U.D. was'approved`With modifications
but a written consent for the plan as modified was not filed.-, options for C.G.T.
C.G.T. would be to file for a building permit under the old zoning map for an Properties
individual unit or to continue with the P.U.D., 'and go through the, public
t hearing process, which would cause a delay in building.
Mayor Johnson instructed the City Planner, at the applicant's request, to cancel
the P.U.D. and return the zoning map to its original condition and to consider
the letter from C.G.T. as a formal request for process initiation on the Cate
Street

The next item on the agenda was announcements and correspondence.

A letter was received from Bob Horn and Roger Sandburg regarding storm water on l
Willow Beach Trail. Engineer Anderson indicated the new pipe that has been put ?
in has trice the capacity of the old pipe and is more than adequate CIto handle
the runoff. Engineer Anderson talked with Mr. Horn about it and will send a
letter of response to him. ,
' - There will be a public hearing on the Scott County water Safety Ordinance on
August 7,;1985, at 7 :30 p.m. in the Prior Lake Council chmi6ers., Manager
McGuire ctir�santed that if this ordinance is adopted by the County Board it would
T evenu ally cane back to :cil the City Cau so it is important for everyone to
attend li possible.-
'The next Council meeting Will be August. 12, 1985, at 7 :30 p.m
Engineer Anderson noted that included in the list of bills to be paid was a
$500.00 payment to Henry R. Ballard for easement on Green Heights Trail. No
additional action is required.
