BOX 350 PRIOR LAKE MINNESOTA 56572 u - u CITY OF PRIOR LAKE MINUTES OF THE CITY COUNCIL October 15, 1985 The Carman Council of the City of Prior Lake met in regular session on Tuesday, October 15,_1985 at 7:30 PM in the City Council Chambers. Mayor Johnson called the meeting to order. Present were Mayor Johnson, Councilmembers Busse Schweich, Scott, Thorkelson, City Manager McGuire, City n y nxjineer Anderson, City Planner Graser, Assistant City manager/Economic Development Director ' City Parks and Recreation Director Mangan tJnmaCht, ► and'Cty ,Attorney Kessel. { Mayor Johnson asked everyone to rise for the 1 p edge of al.Leganoe. The next item on the agenda was to consider the request from R & R _Restaurants, Inc. dbe Anchor Inn for liquor license and cigarette license. City Parks /and Recreation Director Mangan showed slides to the Council of ` the Rob Evans' property indicating the deck encroaches on the park by twelve , a barbecue pit encroaches feet in width rind 91 feet in length the park by five feet. and there ,, was a retaining wall five feet high the length of the deck on park land. following options were being considered: the 25 foot rear setback; (2) lease the remove the deck e ,'the deck; or,' (3) sell the part land for five years, then remove park land that sits under the deck. Discussion by Council and Staff followed.. Because the next item on the agenda was scheduled for 8.00 p.m., this item was tabled until after the discussion on the completion of W' Development.dsong on the Lake City Engineer Anderson r to he Council the progress and r r ress of the developoent reported that grading � g ing of the site has caused serious erosionp,there has been no construction of sewer, water or paving; the paved road for the Hennens has not been completed; and the project was not completed by September 15 as per the developer's agreement. Last week erosion control measures were installed by the developer and they did agree to haul in for rock the Hennen's driveway. At a pre - construction meeting held on October 15, the developer indicated they wanted cu b, gutter and pavement yet this fall.
