Present were Mayor Stock, Councilmen Busse, Oakes, and Williams, City Manager McGuire, and Engineer Anderson. Councilman Watkins and Attorney Sullivan were absent. MINUTES Motion was made by Busse to approve the minutes of March 10, 1976, seconded by Oakes and upon a vote taken it was duly passed. The following correction was made to the minutes of March 15, 1976: Page four, paragraph ten, "April 5, 1976" should read "April 12, 1976. "' MINUTES Motion was made by Williams to approve the Minutes of March 15, 1976 as amended, seconded by Oakes and upon a vote taken it was duly passed. PUBLIC HRG. #0' LAND IN Mayor Stock called the continuation of the Public hearing on a 40' strip of land to ` MAPLE PARK ,be vacated in Maple Park Shore Acres to order. SHORE ACRES TO BE VACATE Mr. John Fiereck stated he talked to Oliver Hannen, C. O. Hannen's heir, and Mr. Hannen prefers selling this property to an adjoining property owner provided the 3 property is vacated. 's Motion was made by Oakes to vacate the 40 foot strip of land between Lots 39 and 3 in Maple Park Shore Acres, seconded by Williams and upon a vote taken it was duly passed. Motion was made by Oakes to adjourn the Public Hearing"on the vacation in Maple Park Shore Acres, seconded by Williams and upon a vote taken it was duly passed. Mayor Stock presented a letter from Jerry . and F. Marie Strukel requesting Y q g a vacation of an easement adjacent to Lot 6, Block 58, Spring Lake Townsite. Mr. and Mrs. Strukel were also present at the meeting. Planner Graser presented information regarding the easement adjacent to Lot 6, Block 58, Spring Lake Townsite for Council review and discussion.. EASEMENTS IN Mayor Stock directed Councilman Busse, the Planning Advisory Commission, and. SPRING LAKE Planner Graser to meet with the County Surveyor and have a work session to try and' TOWNSITE determine the entire Townsite of Spring Lake to establish what these easements were ' for and report back to the Council for the April 19, 1976 Council Meeting. Planner Graser is to contact the County Surveyor to set up a meeting. SAND POINT. BCH Councilman Williams reported'on the cleanup work at Sand Point Beach. CLEAN UP PUBLIC,. HRG. Mayor Stock called the continuation of the'Public Hearing on Pixie Point paving and PIXIE PT, PAVING storm sewer to order. j Engineer Anderson presented information and costs on Pixie Point paving and storm sewer improvements for Council review and discussion. Mr. Donald Johnson suggested that the road be shifted to by-pass getting easements. Mr. Ross Stevens stated that when he bought his property there was no easement on j ` , the title for storm sewer., Mayor Stock presented a letter dated March 14, 1 '976-from Mr. Ross Stevens tw t; "opposing the storm sewer as briginally planned.
