RESOLUTION REGARDING THE 1982 `
COMMUMITY'DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT-APPLICATION

Whereas, -the City;�of Prior Lake has prepargd application for ,
Community ° Development -,Block Grant (C.D.B.G) funds In th's °
amount of $606,000, for construction of an estimated $2A4
million'- water /sower line that wail eliminate a serious- n
and=immedi ate, threat ta.the pubsIc health and safety of
' the community; and
Whereas, the construction `of „sewerlwater 11ne” w'i`t provide a
basic and necessary service to the residents of the north
, s ide of the city and can be imp;Iemen +ed in `a timel manner;
ii br NOW, THEREFORE,,* IT RESOLVED: that the City Council in and for the
City,o# Prior Lake wil commie an estimated 51.54 million
should, the C.D.B.G. application be funded, "to complete the
water / sewer Vine; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: 'that such, Jnanc;ing will beu obtainod through
assessments levied against the 6enefitted property owners;, and
