n A RESOLUTION;ESTABLISHING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE}.PRECINCTS FOR ELECTIek PURPOSES

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Prior Lake makes the following

resolution, and
WHEREAS, the purpose of this resolution is to establish the boundaries: of

the precincts for election „purposes.in,the City of Prior Lake
'
in_accordance . with Exhibit "A ".
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the City Manager shall immediately prepare
and file with the Scott County'Auditor, Secretary of State and

with the Commissioner of 'Energy Planning and Development, maps showing

the precinct boundaries of each election precinct;,as set forth in

Exhibit "A " . v.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT a copy of these resolutions, including Exhibit "A ",

be furnished to the Scott County Commissioners >tiy the City Manager,

together with the Council's recommendation that if the Shakopee
Mendawakanton Sioux Reservations are not currently included in any
Scott County election precinct maps, that said Commissioners immediately
establish boundaries of precincts in Scott Countyofor election purposes
`
to include the boundaries of said reservations. - -.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the physical boundaries of the three are p

PRECINCT NO. #1 shall be comprised of all that territoryz ;within the

City Limits lying East,and North of the following described line: _

Cotvk.y Road 21. commencing at the Bridge separating Upper and Lower
Prior"Lake along said southern right of way to the East City Limits,

thence North `along the East City limits to.its'ntersection with
Highway 13, thence North along Highway 13,until arriving at a point

`perpendicular to B.oudin's Bay, thence following the southern lakeshore

of Prior Lake back toothepoint;of beginning.
PRECINCT NO. 2 shai�l be: comprised of all that territory, within -Ahe
City Limits lying West and South o+ the following describFed line:
County Road 21, commencing`,at the extreme Southern,City Limits, thence

Northwesterly along said right of way to County 'Road 42, thence we3t
