The City Council of the City of Prior Lake, Minnesota, ordains as follows: Title 4, Chapter 2, Sections 4 -2 -3, 4 --2 -4, 4 -2 -5 and 4• =2 -9 are hereby amended as foilowss 4 - 2 -3 PLUMBERS TO BE LICENSE): it shall be unlawful for any person to engage in the business of plumbing or install, maintain or repair plumbing within the limits of the City without first having obtained a license so to do as hereinafter provided. Any person de to engage in said business within the City shall make application in writing to the City Manager or his staff by filing said application with the City Clerk. The following information and such other information as may be requested, shall be set forth in the applications A. The name and place of residence of the applicant. B. The exact location of the premises at which the applicant proposes to carry on said business. C. Whether the applicant has ever engaged in said business, and if so, - where and when. D. The date upon ,which the applicant was licensed by the State of z Minnesota as a`master plumber. E If the applicant is a firm or corporation, the name and place of residence of the master plumber in charge of its work and the date upon which said master plumber was licensed by the State of Minnesota. (Ord. ` 72- 12,''9- 5 -72),, 4-2 - PLUMBER'S LICOM FEE; S<JRE`1�1 BOND AND INSURANCE The fee for such plumber's license shall.be determined by the City Council annually and must be, paid upon the submission of the application* All licenses shall: terminate on December 31 next after their issuance. Licenses shall not be transferable. (Ord. 72 -12, 9 -5 -72; amd. 1979 Code) ; Na plumber's license shall be issued until the license shall h ve been filed with. the City Clerk and the'City Manager or his staff shall have approved a surety bond ;in the, face - amount of five thousand dollars ($5x000.00) running `to the City, , conditioned that the City, will be saved ha'rniless from any 'loss, J damage, cost or expense by reason of any work performed under this Chapter or other ordinances of the City,'' or by reason of improper or inadequate perforwance or compliance with the terms of this Chapter or other ordinances of the City by the holder of the license, or his agents or employees. of No plumber's license shall be issued until the licensee shall have filed with j� Clerk and the City Manager ' or his Staff shall have approved, certificates of the y PP . �i insurance or copies of public liability and property insurance policies approved by the City Manager or his staff, and contain a provision that they shall not be cancelled without ten (10) days' notice to the City'Clerk, showing not less than twenty -five thousand dollars ($25,000.00) for injuries, including , accidental death to any one person and subject to the same limit for each person, in an amount of not less than fifty thousand collars ($50,000.00)' on account of an accident, and property y p party damage insurance in the amount of not le ss Rq than twenty -five thousand dollars ($25,000.00). 4 -2 -5; ISSUANCE OF LICENSES• The City ana .r or his staff shall direct such investigation of said application as it may deem necessary to ` determine whether said applicant is qualified,to engage in said business and shall thereafter consider the application and grant or deny the same; provided, i that no license shall be granted to any person who' -has not been licensed as a master plumber by the State of Minnesota or to any firm or corporation which does not have and maintain in its employ a master plumber in charge of its work. Appeals from the denial of any license application shall be made to the City Council. 4 -2 -9: REWMTION OF LICENSE: The license herein provided for shall expire on December 31 next following the date of issuance, but 4 the City Manager`or his staff may revoke said license at any time if the licensee shall violate the previsions of this Chapter;or any other ordinance of the City governing the perform'6ince of plumbing work. McGu re city Manager of ,Prior Lake, s Minnesota AN ORDINANCE AMENDING PRIOR LAKE FLOOD PLAIN MANAGEMENT ORDINANCE, TITLE 5A, CHAPTER 1, SECTION 2':3,_ENTITLED "REGULATORY FLOOD PROTECTION ELEVATION" AND SECTION 5.1, ENTITLED "PERMITTED USES . ;The City Council of the Ci:ty of Prior Lake, Minnesota, k ordains as follows: Title 5A, Chapter 1, Sections 2.3 and 5.1 are hereby amended as follows 2.3 Regulatory Flood Protection Elevatio The Regulatory Flood Protection Elevation shall be an elevation no lower than the elevation of the regional flood plus any increases in flood elevation caused by encroachments on the flood plein. 2.31 The regulatory flood protection elevation within the Floodway and Flood Fringe Districts shall be Base Flood Water Surface Elevations With ,Floodway listed in the Floodway Data Table contained in the Flood, Insurance Study.
