CITY OF PRIOR LAKE
ORDINANCE NO. 85- 04
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 5•-4 -1 (B) OF THE PRIOR LAKE CITY
CODE TO PERMIT ACCESSORY STRUCTURES TO MAINTAIN A TEN (10) FOOT
REAR YARD SETBACK IN ALL RESIDENTIAL DISTRICTS.
The City Council of the City of Prior Lake does hereby ordain:
Section 5 -4 -1 (B) is hereby amended to read as follows:
5 -4 -1 (B) All structures, whether attached to the principal
structure or not, and whether open or enclosed, including
porches, carports, balconies or platforms above normal
grade level, shall not project into any minimum front,
side or rear yard setbacks. PROVIDED, HOWEVER, accessory
structures for all residential districts shall be
permitted within ten (10) feet from the rear yard setback.
This ordinance shall be effective from and after its passage and
publication according to law.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Prior Lake, Minnesota,
this 14th day of Janu 1985.
