HomeMy WebLinkAbout14-041 Hickory Shores South Final Plat4646 Dakota Street SE Prior Lake, MN 55372 RESOLUTION 14.041 A RESOLUTION TO APPROVE THE "HICKORY SHORES SOUTH" FINAL PLAT AND TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR AND CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE DEVELOPMENT CONTRACT Motion By: McGuire Second By: Morton WHEREAS, On August 26, 2013, the City Council approved the preliminary plat for "Hickory Shores South ", subject to conditions identified by Resolution 13 -122; and WHEREAS, DR Horton Inc. (the "Developer ") has submitted an application to the City of Prior Lake for approval of a Final Plat for Hickory Shores South; and WHEREAS, The City Council has found that the final plat of "Hickory Shores South" is in substantial compliance with the approved preliminary plat for Hickory Shores South. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PRIOR LAKE, MINNESOTA as follows: 1. The recitals set forth above are incorporated herein as if fully set forth. 2. The final plat of "Hickory Shores South" is approved subject to the following conditions to be met by the Developer, which shall be met prior to release of and recording of the final plat: a. A current title opinion or commitment of title insurance is submitted acceptable to the City Attorney. b. Payment of all fees is made to the City prior to release of the final plat mylars. c. Reductions of the entire final plat are submitted to the City, to the following scales: 1" = 200'; and one reduction at no scale which fits onto an 8 112" x 11" sheet of paper. d. Three mylar sets of the final plat with all required signatures are submitted to the City. e. Provide financial security to the City, acceptable to the City Engineer, prior to release of the final plat mylars. f. The final plat and all pertinent documents must be filed with Scott County within 60 days from the date of final plat approval, Failure to record the documents by May 9, 2014, will render the final plat null and void. g. A park trail (graphically portrayed as option 2 on the attached Exhibit A) shall be constructed by the developer. 3. The Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized to execute the Development Contract on behalf of the City. PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 10TH DAY OF MARCH, 2014.
