In the past a temporary 3.2 liquor license has been issued for Lakefront Days. This year the Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a wine tasting on Tuesday, August yd. The state requires a temporary on-sale intoxicating license rather than a 3.2 liquor license for a wine tasting. This license will be valid from Tuesday, August 3, 2004 until Saturday, August 7, 2004. The Issues Dram shop insurance will be carried through United States Liability Insurance Group. The Prior Lake Police Department has found no reason to deny the application. The Chamber of Commerce will pay to have a security officer present at the tent on all days of the event. The City Council has the following alternatives: 1. Adopt a motion as part of the consent agenda approving the temporary on-sale intoxicating liquor license for the Prior Lake Chamber of Commerce. 2. Deny the temporary on-sale intoxicating liquor license request.
