Each year the City Council adopts an Equipment Replacement Plan as part of the Capital

The 2014 Equipment Replacement Plan contemplates the replacement of (Unit #466) 1999

The 2014 Equipment Plan programmed $195,700 for the replacement of this equipment; and

A detailed needs and financial analysis has been completed and is included in the agenda

report; and
Quotes were received through the State Purchasing Program and are incorporated in the

agenda report.

2.Staff is authorized to trade-in the 1999 Sterling Single Axle Dump Truck (Unit #466)
3.Staff is authorized to purchase one 2015 Freightliner 108SD Chassis for a cost not to exceed
$51,027.63
4.Staff is authorized to purchase one stainless steel box, plow, wing and controls from Towmaster for a
cost not to exceed $109,355.09
5.Funds will be drawn from the Revolving Equipment Fund account 410-43100-550
