Replace first three sentences with, “Prior Lake, located at the southwest edge of the Twin Cities, is known for its lakes,
outdoor amenities, recreation, entertainment venues, and the high quality schools and neighborhoods.
Prior Lake has grown from a population of 15,917 in 2000 to 23,796 in 2014. The city is home to Scott County’s largest
employer, Mystic Lake Casino and Hotel. Many other businesses call Prior Lake home, such as NOREX, Inc., which
is North America’s leading IT Peer networking resource, Onsite Engineering and Forensic Services Inc., which provides
superior forensic engineering services and Safe Step, Inc., which has become the leading hotel bathtub safety and
appearance solutions provider.
Prior Lake is poised for continued growth with over 300 acres of vacant business park and industrial land. Plus, an
additional 2,500 acres of land within an orderly annexation area will become available in the future.”
