The incident case reports listed are just a sampling of the 24 crime index categories included in the
Uniform Crime Report and therefore the totals of the selected categories will not add up to the total
number of incidents shown on the last line above.
Total number of incidents are still down compared to last year, but have been closing the gap each month.
Training of the two new officers is going well—they are still on track to complete the Field Officer Training
component the first week in July.
There was a Hit and Run accident the end of May at County Road 21 and Franklin Trail. One of the drivers
was five months pregnant. She subsequently lost her unborn child. Officer Josh Rozga and Lt. Randy
Hofstad did a lot of good police work and we have arrested the 30 year old driver that ran from the scene.
