Dear Mr. Ryan:
This letter is to inform you that the City of Prior Lake has approved the above
referenced tree preservation plan based upon the survey submitted for review on
August 12, 2003. The plan indicates that there are 269 caliper inches of
significant trees currently on the site, and 38 caliper inches will be removed for
the construction of a single family dwelling. The Zoning Ordinance permits up to
25 percent, or 67.25 caliper inches in this case, to be removed. Since proposed
removal will not exceed the Ordinance standard, mitigation is not required.
The $500 cash escrow security you submitted with your application will be
released upon certification of compliance with relevant provisions of the tree
preservation ordinance.
