Gas line rough-in at family room/bar area for future: oven
Dear Mr. Horsman:
This letter is to clarity my intention in installing a copper gas line rough-in for a future oven/range at the
south wall of the family roomlbar area. My intent is to provide for the possibility of easily supplying
natural gas to any oven/range which may, at some future date, be installed at the south wall of this room.
This would be for the use of an elderly or college age close rellltive, such as a daughter or parent. It is
not intended to make a fully-operational for.profit.rental unit out of the basement.
My intent is to leave this line unhooked at both ends unless and until such time it's decided we'd like to
install a gas oven/range in the room at some futun: date.

further questions or concerns.

Intended use of northwest-most room
Dear Paul:
This letter is to clarifY my intended USe ofthe northwest-most room in my basement, which I have
labeled "den" on the approved plan set on file in your office. My initial intent is to use this room as a
den/office area, with no plan of people sleeping in it If my intended use changes so that it becomes a
room in which someone will sleep regularly, I plan to provide an g" step at the floor beneath the window
and change the existing window to an "egress" slider of the same 60"x42" rough opening dimension.
I hope this answers your concerns you may have about this room. Please call with any further questions
