AGENDA ITEM: PRESENTATION ON WATER PATROL ACTIVITIES (Sheriff Menden)
PRESENTATION: As the Council is aware, former Sheriff Bill Nevin annually provided a report to
the City Council regarding the County's water patrol activities on Prior Lake.
Accordingly, Councilmember Petersen requested that Sheriff Menden be invited
to a City Council meeting to talk about the past boating season. Attached is a
letter sent to the Sheriff inviting him to tonight's meeting.
Sheriff Menden has indicated that he, together with members of his staff, will be
present to provide a status report. Councilmembers will have the opportunity to
ask the Sheriff or his staff any questions you may have, or voice any concerns
you have with the patrol efforts.
