Prior Lake, MN 55372-1714 MEETING DATE: AGENDA #: PREPARED BY: AGENDA ITEM: DISCUSSION: REVIEWED BY: CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT DECEMBER 6, 2004 8B JOHN SULLIVAN, COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR PRESENTATION: PROGRESS IN PRIOR LAKE Historv: On October 28, 2004, city staff delivered a PowerPoint presentation at the second annual Great Scott Conference held at Shepard's Path in Prior Lake. The theme of the conference was growth, changes and challenges in Scott County and it highlighted what was going on with this topic in individual cities. The audience was well over 200 people and was a broad mix of county, municipal, business, local and state representatives as well as the media. The presentation was well received and staff felt it should also be updated and shared with the Council and the public that could not be in attendance. The Issues: None. Identify preferred types of business for recruitment based upon market study (McComb Report). .
