AGENDA ITEM: SWEARING IN CEREMONY FOR POLICE OFFICERS
PRESENTATION: The City began official swearingin ceremonies for new police
officers in 2001. The brief ceremony is a great opportunity for
Council members and the general public to get to know our newest
police officers.
David Honican is a graduate of Rosemount High School, and is a
former Marine. He completed his law enforcement degree at
Normandale Community College in 2003.
Myly McBride grew up in Crystal and is a graduate of Minnesota
State University in Mankato.
Andrew Reyer is a graduate of Rosemount High School and Inver
Hills Community College. AJ served in the US Army Reserves
and was deployed on active duty to Iraq for nearly a year. While
in Iraq he was awarded the Army Commendation Medal for
heroism in the midst of enemy fire.
The ceremony would consist of the following:
1. Introduction by Chief Bill O'Rourke
2. The Mayor will administer the oath of office and present their
badge.

And the Ordinances of the City of Prior Lake,

To the best of my ability.
