HENTGES $833,778.00 $86,133.75 $619,911.75 VEIT $563,049.00 $98,723.50 $661,722.50 and; WHEREAS, Barber Construction is the lowest responsible bidder with the Base Bid and Alternate. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PRIOR LAKE, MINNESOTA as follows: 1. The recitals set forth above are incorporated herein. 2. Barber Construction is the lowest responsible bidder. 3. The Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized to enter into the City’s standard contract with Barber Construction in the name of the City of Prior Lake for the Markley Lake Trail Construction (Project #PRK15-000006) Base Bid and Alternate in the amount of $443,713.00. 4. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to return to all bidders the deposits that accompanied their respective bids. 5. The City Council authorizes funding for this project as shown in the following t able: PROJECT COST Base Bid $379,898.00 Alternate $63,815.00 TOTAL CONSTRUCTION COSTS $443,713.00 Engineering Design $35,519.00 Construction Admin & Observation Services $49,639.00 Other Misc (Testing and Permitting) $5,100.00 Legal – Estimated $5,000 Property Acquisition – Estimated $5,000 TOTAL PROJECT OVERHEAD $100,258.00 TOTAL PROJECT COST $543,971.00 6. Costs for the project will be recorded in the Capital Park Fund (#225-45200.00-55030.00) for the Markley Lake Trail Project. PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 9th DAY OF NOVEMBER 2015.
