RESOLUTION INITIATING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY LOCATED AT 4600 THROUGH 4626
DAKOTA STREET FROM R-2 TO C-3

WHEREAS,
The City of Prior Lake is in the process of purchasing the properties located at 4600
through 4626 Dakota Street for the Purpose of constructing a new City Hall; and
In 2005, the City Council approved the 2030 Comprehensive Plan Land designating
this property for C-TC (Town Center) uses; and
The City of Prior Lake wishes to make some improvements to this property; and
In order to determine whether the rezoning is or is not in the public interest, the City
Council has initiated the rezoning process by motion.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PRIOR LAKE, that:
1. The aboVe recitals are herein fully incorporated herein as set forth above.
2. Pursuant to Section 1108.501 of the City of Prior Lake Zoning Ordinance, the process for the
rezoning of the properties located at 4600 through 4626 Dakota Street, is hereby initiated
