The incident case reports listed are just a sampling of the 24 crime index categories included in the Uniform
Crime Report and therefore the totals of the selected categories will not add up to the total number of
incidents shown on the last line above.
For November the department was short two officers in patrol. The School Resource Officer position,
which was vacated by Officer O’Herir’s retirement, was filled by Officer Matt Nardo. A few TZD shifts were
worked by officers as part of the county wide traffic safety initiative.
Tobacco compliance checks were completed this month with one failure. The employee (who had
received training) was terminated. As part of the review of the incident by the business and my discussion
with them, the business decided to add incentives for employees who successfully pass a compliance
check.
