PRESENTATION OF CERTIFICAT
APPRECIATION TO OUTGOING BOARD AND
COMMISSION MEMBERS
OCTOBER 16, 1995
The City Council has adopted a practice of awarding
Certificates of Appreciation to outgoing Board and
Commission members.
Four individuals are scheduled to receive Certificates of
Appreciation. Those individuals are as follows:
1) Chuck Arnold _ Chuck has served for 15 years as a
member of the Planning Commission. He was
appointed in June, 1979 and has reached his term
limit based upon the Council's policy. During his
tenure Chuck has seen the adoption of one
Comprehensive Plan and is in the process of considering
another..
2) Dave Roseth - Dave has served on the Planning
Commission since July, 1980. Like Chuck he has seen
the adoption of one Comprehensive Plan and is
participating in the adoption of a second. Dave is also
retiring as a result of the term limit policy.
3) Sam Emond - Sam was appointed to the Park Advisory
Committee in April, 1993. He has resigned from the
Committee as he is moving to Texas.
4) John Wingard - John was appointed to the Lake
Research Committee in September, 1989 and then was
appointed to serve on the Lake Advisory Committee on

July 15, 1991 and served until May, 1995 when he was
hired as the Assistant City Engineer at which time he
resigned from the Lake Advisory Committee.
ACTION REQUIRED: The Mayor should bestow the Certificates of Appreciation
to each of these former Board and Commission members
in recognition of their service. to our community.
