RESOLUTION 16-009
A RESOLUTION TO CONSIDER APPROVAL OF THE PURCHASE OF NEW ELECTION EQUIPMENT
Motion By: Keeney Second By: McGuire
WHEREAS, As part of the 2015 budget, the City Council allocated funds for the purchase of new
election equipment, and
WHEREAS, The useful life of the City’s current election equipment has ended , and
WHEREAS, Scott County will only support new election equipment, and
WHEREAS,
Ten precinct ballot counters are needed in Prior Lake.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PRIOR LAKE,
MINNESOTA as follows:
1. The recitals set forth above are incorporated he rein.
2. Staff is authorized to purchase ten ballot counters from Dominion Voting Systems at a cost of $8,475.00
each.
3. The funds for the purchase of new election equipment will be drawn from 101 -41410.00-52400.10.
