This report presents the results of acoustical testing of the floor/ceiling assembly between first and
second floors at 45 Maleena Mesa, Las Vegas, NV. This test was requested by Mr. Josh Jonnson of
Maxxon and were conducted on April 1,2003.
This report must not be reproduced except in full with the approval of STORK/ Twin City Testing.
The test results contained in this report pertain only to the specific floor/ceiling assemblies tested and
not necessarily to all similar constructions.
STORK / Twin City Testing Corporation has been accredited by the U.S. Department of Commerce
and the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST, formerly NBS) under their National
Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program(NVLAP) for conducting this test procedure. This report
may not be used to claim product endorsement by NVLAP or any agency of the U.S. Government.

TEST PRnCFDERF ANI}FOIIiPmmil:
ASTM Standards: E336(97)was followed in every respect. The instrumentation was calibrated
before and after testing with a B+K 4230 sound level calibrator. The F-STC value was obtained by
applying the FTL(Field Transmission Loss)values to the standard contour of ASTM E41.3-99.

ASTM Standards: E1007(97) was followed in every respect. The instrumentation was calibrated
before and after testing with a B+K 4230 sound level calibrator. The F-IIC value was obtained by
applying the LN values to the standard contour of ASTM E989(99).

This report presents the results of acoustical testing of the floor/ceiling assembly between first and
second floors at 45 Maleena Mesa, Las Vegas, NV. This test was requested by Mr. Josh Jonnson of
Maxxon and were conducted on April 1,2003.
This report must not be reproduced except in full with the approval of STORK/ Twin City Testing.
The test results contained in this report pertain only to the specific floor/ceiling assemblies tested and
not necessarily to all similar constructions.

The tests were conducted between 1St and 2nd Floor Units at 45 Maleena Mesa, Las Vegas,NV. The
floor ceiling assembly consisted of the following components:
• Vinyl Flooring Sample
• 0.75"Maxxon Underlayment
• 5/8"T&G Sheathing
• 11 7/8"deep Open Joists,24"O.C.
• 1.6 pcf Insulation
• RC-1 Resilient Channel
• 1 layer, 5/8"Type X Gypsum Board
The Floor/Ceiling Description was provided by Maxxon Personnel and not verified by TCT.
TEST PROCEDURE AND EQUIPMENT:
ASTM Standards: ASTM El 007(97) was followed in every respect. The instrumentation was
calibrated before and after testing with a B+K 4230 sound level calibrator. The F-IIC value was
obtained by applying the LN values to the standard contour of ASTM E989(99).
