HomeMy WebLinkAbout6A Police Year End PresentationANNUAL POLICE REPORT •THE PRIOR LAKE POLICE ANNUAL REPORT IS DELIVERED IN JULY EACH YEAR AFTER THE RELEASE OF THE FEDERAL BUREAU OF INVESTIGATION (FBI) UNIFORM CRIME REPORT (UCR) •ALL POLICE AGENCIES ARE REQUIRED TO REPORT DATA TO THE FBI OF SEVERAL CRIME CATEGORIES (PART I AND PART II CRIMES) AS WELL AS OTHER STATISTICAL INFORMATION SUCH AS NUMBER OF OFFICERS AND POPULATION SERVED. •IN MINNESOTA THIS INFORMATION IS REPORTED TO THE BUREAU OF CRIMINAL APPREHENSION (BCA) •A COMPREHENSIVE MINNESOTA REPORT IS COMPLIED EACH YEAR AND PUBLISHED IN JULY. 2015 STATISTICAL CALL REPORT •THE INFORMATION YOU WILL SEE TODAY IS BASED ON THE MONTHLY POLICE REPORT SUBMITTED TO THE CITY COUNCIL EACH MONTH •THE MONTHLY REPORT IS CUSTOMIZED TO GIVE A SNAPSHOT OF TYPICAL CALLS FOR SERVICE IN OUR CITY. •THIS REPORT IS MEANT TO GIVE YOU A QUICK RECAP OF CRIME IN PRIOR LAKE FOR 2015. •A MORE DETAILED ANALYSIS WILL BE GIVEN IN JULY WHEN ADDITIONAL INFORMATION IS AVAILABLE.
