The original letter for this determination was dated July 18, 2014 letter reference 140718A2. The way the math calculates is the new Snap Fitness new use is 1.42 SAC units minus Grandparent Retail of.80 equals a net charge of 0.62 SAC unit. The Metropolitan Council rounds up the charge 0.62 SAC unit to 1 unit. See attached letter from the Metropolitan Council. The city needs to collect one SAC unit for the Snap Fitness space.The fee for the 1 SAC unit: Metropolitan Council SAC 2485.00 City Sewer/Water Connection Fee 1500.00 City Water Tower Fee 1000.00 Total $4985.00 Please submit the fee before the final inspection and the Certificate of Occupancy is issued for the Snap Fitness tenant space. Going forward with any new nonretail type uses of the Southlake Village the Southlake Village will be able to utilize the Metropolitan Councils SAC Grandparent provision.Give me a call with any comments or questions.
