DEPARTMENT THE DEPARTMENT MAY IMPOSE RESTRICTIONS ON OUTSIDE EMPLOYMENT S WORN EMPLOYEES ENGAGED IN OUTSIDE EMPLOYMENT WEARING THE DEPARTMENT PLPO UNIFORM AND PRESENTING THEMSELVES AS RIOR AKE OLICE FFICERS ARE SUBJECT TO PLPD.A THE RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE RIOR AKE OLICE EPARTMENT LL SUCH EMPLOYEES ARE SUBJECT TO INSPECTION FOR COMPLIANCE WITH DEPARTMENT RULES AND .APLPD REGULATIONS LL EMPLOYEES OF THE RIOR AKE OLICE EPARTMENT WORKING IN AN - OFFDUTY CAPACITY WILL BE UNDER THE DIRECTION OF ANY SUPERIOR OFFICER THEN ON .I-, DUTY F MORE THAN ONE OFFICER IS WORKING AT ANY OFFDUTY JOB THE SENIOR OR D SUPERIOR OFFICER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR COMPLIANCE TO EPARTMENT RULES AND -. REGULATIONS BY ALL OFFICERS WORKING OFFDUTY AT THAT JOB O-DE FFUTY MPLOYMENT APPROVAL E- MPLOYEES SHALL SUBMIT A WRITTEN REQUEST FOR OFFDUTY EMPLOYMENT TO THE C,. HIEF WHOSE APPROVAL MUST BE GRANTED PRIOR TO ENGAGING IN SUCH EMPLOYMENT O‘Q’, NLY UALIFIED OFFICERS AS DEFINED IN THE LABOR AGREEMENT ARE ELIGIBLE FOR -. OFFDUTY EMPLOYMENT A: PPROVAL MAY BE DENIED WHERE IT APPEARS THAT THE OUTSIDE EMPLOYMENT MIGHT 1.R. ENDER THE OFFICERS UNAVAILABLE DURING AN EMERGENCY 2.P HYSICALLY OR MENTALLY EXHAUST THE EMPLOYEE TO THE POINT . THAT THEIR PERFORMANCE MAY BE AFFECTED 3.BD RING THE EPARTMENT INTO DISREPUTE OR IMPAIR THE OPERATION . OR EFFICIENCY OF THE DEPARTMENT OR EMPLOYEE 4.R. ESULT IN A CONFLICT OF INTEREST TCP HE FOLLOWING GENERAL PROHIBITIONS MAY BE AMENDED BY THE HIEF OF OLICE WHO , MAKES FINAL DECISIONS ON THIS ISSUE CONSISTENT WITH THE INTERESTS OF THE D.E-: EPARTMENT MPLOYEES ARE PROHIBITED FROM OFFDUTY EMPLOYMENT  F;.., OR ANY BUSINESS WHICH IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH POLICE WORK IE ,,,.. BARTENDING REPOSSESSION WORK BAIL BONDS ETC  FCC OR ANY BUSINESS NOT IN COMPLIANCE WITH ITY ODES AND O RDINANCES  I F THE EMPLOYMENT REQUIRES THE OFFICER TO WEAR A UNIFORM AND D. THE OFFICER CAN NOT WORK IN UNIFORM FOR THE EPARTMENT  I F THE EMPLOYMENT REQUIRES THE OFFICER TO CARRY A FIREARM AND - THE OFFICER IS ON NONENFORCEMENT DUTY ASSIGNMENT OR OTHER DISCIPLINARY ACTION FOR FAILURE TO QUALIFY WITH DEPARTMENT .
