Our home business involves marketing activities, acquiring clients, and scheduling
mobile pet grooming trailers in the southwest metropolitan area. The business items
which will be used and kept in our home office include a personal computer, fax
machine, cell phone, pager, desk, and filing cabinet. All marketing and business related
office supplies will be kept in our office.
The nature of the business is to schedule and dispatch 3 mobile dog grooming trailers in
the southwest metro area. The trailers will be warehoused off site at a storage facility and
the employees will pick up and drop off the trailers from this storage facility. Marketing
activities will include mailings, flyers, event participation, word of mouth, and repeat
customer relations.
Essentially, once the business is up and running the primary effort is that ofa dispatcher.

Dear Mr. & Mrs. Hansen:
This letter is to inform you that the City of Prior Lake has approved a home occupation
permit for the above referenced business for property located at 3529 Island View Circle
NW, subject to the following conditions:
1. All material or equipment shall be stored within an enclosed structure.
2. Operation of the home occupation is not apparent from the public right-of-way or
any lake, except for parking of 1 vehicle not to exceed 9,000 pounds gross vehicle
weight.
3. The activity does not involve warehousing, distribution, or retail. sales of
merchandise produced off the site, except that storage up to 200 cubic feet of
products and materials used to cany on the home occupation is permitted.
4. No person is employed at the residence who does not legally reside in the home
except that a licensed Group Family Day Care Facility may have one outside
employee.
5. No light or vibration originating from the business operation is discernible at the
property line.
6. Only equipment, machinery, and materials which are normally found in the home
are used in the conduct of the home occupation.
7. Space within the dwelling devoted to the home occupation does not exceed 400
square feet or 10% of the floor area, whichever is greater.
8. No portion of the home occupation is permitted within any attached or detached
accessory building.
9. The structure housing the home occupation conforms to the Building Code; and in
the case where the home occupation is a day care or if there are any customers or
students, the home occupation has received a Certificate of Occupancy.

10. All home occupations shall be subject to an annual inspection to insure compliance
with the above conditions.
11. All applicable permits from other govemmental agencies have been obtained.
