HomeMy WebLinkAbout16-073 City Manager Annual Contract 4646 Dakota Street SE Prior Lake, MN 55372 RESOLUTION 16-073 A RESOLUTION SETTING THE CITY MANAGER’S BASE SALARY FOR 2016 AND APPROVING EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT Motion By: Morton Second By: Thompson WHEREAS, The City Manager and the City Council on behalf of the City of Prior Lake entered into an employment agreement commencing on March 1, 1993; and WHEREAS, The City Council conducted a performance appraisal of the City Manager for calendar year 2015; and WHEREAS, The performance appraisal was deemed satisfactory and warrants continuation of the employment agreement. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PRIOR LAKE, MINNESOTA as follows: 1. The recitals set forth above are incorporated herein. 2. The City Manager’s base salary as set forth in the employment agreement and this resolution is hereby increased by 1.5% for calendar year 2016 from $127,970 to $129,890 (retroactive to January 1, 2016). 3. The City Manager is authorized to receive cash in lieu of 120.5 hours accrued by unused vacation leave from 2015 since the business circumstances in 2015 were such that he was unable to use all accrued vacation before the end of the year as is the city policy. 4. All other terms and condition of the employment agreement shall remain in full force and effect (retroactive to January 1, 2016). PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 23rd DAY OF MAY 2016.
