The petition has been duly presented to the City of Prior Lake, signed by the owners of the property situated in the City of Prior Lake, Scott County, Minnesota to wit: Legal Description (Vacated Easement Area): All drainage and utility esasements over and across that part of Lot 5, Block 3, WILLOWS 2ND ADDITION, Scott County, Minnesota and that part of Outlot B of said plat described as follows: Beginning at the southwest corner of Lot 3, Block 3, of said plat; thence southerly along southerly extension of the west line of said Lot 3, to the intersection with the southerly line of said Lot 5; thence southwesterly along the southerly line of said Lot 5, to the northeast corner of Lot 6, Block 3, of said plat; thence southeasterly along the easterly line of said Lot 6, to the southeast corner of said Lot 6; thence northeasterly along the northeasterly extension of the southerly line of said Lot 6, a distance of 109.8 feet to the intersection with the shoutherly extension of the east line of Lot 3, Block 3, of said plat; thence northerly along said southerly extension to the southeast corner of said Lot 3; thence westerly along the south line of said Lot 3, to the point of beginning. (PID 25-109-021-0) WHEREAS, Notice of the hearing has been duly published and posted in accordance with the applicable Minnesota Statutes, and WHEREAS, A Public Hearing was held on said petition on Monday, August 22, 2016, in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 4646 Dakota Street SE; and WHEREAS, The City Council then proceeded to hear all persons interested in said petition and persons interested were afforded the opportunity to present their views and objections to the granting of said petition; and WHEREAS, The public drainage and utlity easements considered for vacation are not necessary to facilitate strom water drainage or utility service. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PRIOR LAKE, that: 1. The above recitals are herein fully incorporated herein as set forth above. 2. The City Council of Prior Lake has determined that the vacation of said public easement would be in the public interest. 3.
