HomeMy WebLinkAbout95-02PC Windsong on the Lake Second Addition Variances and Preliminary Plat RESOLUTION 95-02PC RESOLUTION OF THE PRIOR LAKE PLANNING COMMISSION TO RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF VARIANCES AND THE PRELIMINARY PLAT OF "WINDSONG ON THE LAKE SECOND ADDITION." MOTION BY: KUYKENDALL SECONDEDB~ARNOLD WHEREAS, WHEREAS, the Prior Lake Planning Commission conducted a Public Hearing on the 5th day of January, 1995, to act on a petition submitted by H. & H. Land Development. to approve the preliminary plat of "Windsong on the Lake Second Addition" and; notice of the public hearing on said motion has been duly published and posted in accordance with the applicable Minnesota Statutes; and NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE PRIOR LAKE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PRIOR LAKE, MINNESOTA, that it hereby recommends that the City Council approve the preliminary plat of "Windsong on the Lake Second Addition" as shown on amended plan sheets dated January 26, 1995 subject to the following: VARIANCE: A 34' lot width variance (measured at the 25' front yard setback) from the 86' lot width requirement for proposed Lot 9, Block 1, Windsong on the Lake Second Addition. PLANNING: The name of the plat be changed from "Windsong on the Lake Plat Two," to "Windsong on the Lake Second Addition." That all necessary permits and approvals from other local, state and federal govemment agencies be obtained by the Developer which are required due to the development. ENGINEERING: 4. All utility and drainage easements necessary be provided and shown on the plat acceptable to the City Engiueer. 5. Erosion control plan be revised acceptable to the City Engineer. The M.W.C.C. be contacted for review of possible widening of the existing easement for the M.W.C.C. interceptor through this plat. 7. All existing structures shall be field verified and shown correctly on the drawing acceptable to the City Engineer. 8, Street and cul-de-sac typical sections be revised acceptable to the City Engineer. One hundred (100) year high water level elevations of low areas on the site with calculations need to be submitted to the Enginee~g Department, and 100 year flood elevations established to determine a low building pad elevations on lots. 16200 Eagle Creek Ave., Prior Lake, Minnesota 55372-1714 / Ph. Additional drainage calculations be submitted for the 2, 10 and 100 year storms and drainage plan revised acceptable to the City Engineer. The inter-office memorandum comments from Jeffrey Evens and Lanol Leichty dated December 21, 1994 and December 20, 1994 respectively be addressed acceptable to the City Engineer.
