CONTRIBUTION OF $5,000 FROM THE FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY _
DAWN GLATZEL-BECK.
The Friends of the Library have taken action to approve the contribution of
$5,000 to the City provided that we:
1. Install double glass doors into the Library;
2. Provide ADA automated entry;
3. Complete minor reconfigurations of the heating and air conditioning system
required as a result of the installation of the doors.
We anticipate that the total cost of this work is between $15,000 and $18,000.
Dawn Glatzel-Beck will present a $5,000 check to the City Council.
This is yet another example of getting things accomplished through
partnerships. The doors will be installed by this fall.
