team in implementing policy and directing service delivery.
Over the past few months an extensive testing process was used to select
a new sergeant within the police department. The process involved testing,
interviews and leadership and management assessments.

throughout the process and was promoted to the rank of Sergeant on August
20th. This agenda item is to recognize Sergeant Johnson for his
accomplishment.

years and has worked as a patrol officer, and trainer in our use of force, and
field training officer programs. Prior to joining the Prior Lake team, he had
several years of service in the Army.

introduce him and say a few words, and will then move on to introducing the
Lieutenant.
