CONSIDER APPROVAL OF TEMPORARY 3.2 MALT
LIQUOR LICENSE FOR THE WRESTLING BOOSTER CLUB
Introduction
This agenda item requests approval of a temporary 3.2 Malt Liquor
License for the Wrestling Booster Club.
History
This is the first time the Wrestling Booster Club has requested a
temporary 3.2 Malt Liquor License for their annual fundraiser.
The Issues
The Wrestling Booster Club has provided the City with proof of liquor
liability insurance and paid the $25.00 license fee. The Prior Lake
Police Department has completed its investigation and has found no
reason to deny the application.
The City Council has the following alternatives:
1. Adopt a motion as part of the consent agenda approving the
temporary 3.2 Malt Liquor License for the Wrestling Booster Club.
2. Deny the temporary 3.2 Malt Liquor License request.
Staff recommends Council approve the temporary 3.2 Malt Liquor
License for the Wrestling Booster Club for September 10,2005.
