HomeMy WebLinkAbout17-190 Woodside Huron Accept Feasiblity 4646 Dakota Street SE Prior Lake, MN 55372 RESOLUTION 17-190 A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE FEASIBILITY REPORT AND CALLING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING FOR THE WOODSIDE/HURON NEIGHBORHOOD STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT, CITY PROJECT #TRN18-000001 Motion By: McGuire Second By: Braid WHEREAS, Pursuant to Resolution 17-064, the City Council, on May 8, 2017 ordered a Feasibility Report to be prepared under the direction of the City’s Engineering Department with reference to the Woodside/Huron Neighborhood Street Improvement Project; and WHEREAS, The Feasibility Report for the Woodside/Huron Neighborhood Street Improvement Project dated November 2017 contains information that the proposed project is necessary, cost effective, and feasible; and NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PRIOR LAKE, MINNESOTA as follows: 1. The recitals set forth above are incorporated herein. 2. The City Council hereby accepts the Feasibility Report as submitted. 3. The Council will consider the improvement of such streets and areas in accordance with the Report and the assessment of property as described in the Report for all or a portion of the cost of the improvements pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Chapter 429 at an estimated total cost of the improvements of $2,752,300. 4. A Public Hearing shall be held on such proposed improvements on the 11th of December, 2017 at Prior Lake City Hall, with the address of 4646 Dakota Street SE, City of Prior Lake, Minnesota at 7:00 p .m. statutory notice and publication requirements shall be followed.
