HomeMy WebLinkAbout18-003 Unrepresented Employees 4646 Dakota Street SE Prior Lake, MN 55372 RESOLUTION 18-003 A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A 2018 COMPENSATION PLAN AND INSURANCE CONTRIBUTIONS FOR UNREPRESENTED EMPLOYEES Motion By: McGuire Second By: Braid WHEREAS, the City of Prior Lake completed a comprehensive compensation plan in 2017 which the city council adopted in July 2017; and, WHEREAS, The study established a position hierarchy plan based upon the responsibilities of each position as identified in each job description; and, WHEREAS, WHEREAS, WHEREAS, The study also established a pay structure for non-union employees based upon a survey of seventeen comparable cities; and, The city council desires to continue to recruit and retain high quality employees; and, The staff has presented a report with attachments dated January 8, 2018 which identifies the wages and insurance contributions to be paid in 2018. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PRIOR LAKE, MINNESOTA as follows: 1. The recitals set forth above are incorporated herein. 2. The City Council hereby approves the compensation plan and insurance contributions for unrepresented employees for 2018 as set forth in the January 8, 2018 staff report.
