RESOLUTION 18-025
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE FEASIBILITY REPORT AND SCHEDULING A PUBLIC
HEARING TO CONSIDER THE 2018 MILL AND OVERLAY PROJECT
Motion By: Burkart Second By: Braid
WHEREAS, Pursuant to Resolution 17-198, the City Council on December 4th, 2017 ordered a
Feasibility Report to be prepared by the City’s Public Works Director with reference
to the 2018 Mill and Overlay project; and
WHEREAS, The Feasibility Report for the 2018 Mill and Overlay, dated February 5, 2018
contains information that the proposed project is necessary, cost effective, and
feasible.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PRIOR LAKE,
MINNESOTA as follows:
1. The recitals set forth above are incorporated herein.
2. The City Council hereby accepts the Feasibility Report as submitted.
3. The Council will consider the improvement of such streets and areas in accordance with the
Report and the assessment of property as described iin the Report for all or a portion of the
cost of improvements pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Chapter 429 at an estimated cost of
the improvements of $630,000.
4. A Public Hearing shall be held on such proposed improvements on the 5th of March, 2018 at
Prior Lake City Hall, with the address of 4646 Dakota St SE, City of Prior Lake, Minnesota at
7:00 p.m. statutory notice and publication requirements shall be followed.
Passed and adopted by the Prior Lake City Council this 5th day of February, 2018
