The police department has been using the LETG Record Management system for over a year now and comparisons year to year are now reported in the same system, so the comparisons should be vastly similar given the information is gathered and reported in the same system for each category. Heat maps as requested by council, are able to be provided through the new RMS system and additional crime mapping software. Additionally, public access to crime maps was rolled out in June of 2017. Links to the crime maps are provided on the police department webpage and at www.communitycrimemap.com Total calls for service for the month of March were up over March of last year. This is a trend we have seen for the last several years. As we see growth in Prior Lake, the volume of calls would be expected to grow as well. 5F All Calls for service 5F Part I Crimes (murder, rape, robbery, aggravated assault, burglary, motor vehicle theft, larceny-theft, and arson) Traffic and DUI
